recent news

Well - there is a way to do it! It invovles living in Uganda for upto 4 years! minimum 3 years! Oh dear! Nevermind, I'm just going to have to get used to the idea! As long as I can come back to the UK (it will have to be without Nathanial though) at least once in those years then it wont be so bad I suppose! I am trying to be optimistic!
I am still wondering how I will manage to stay sane living in Uganda for that long and being away from everything that I am so used to and enjoy.

There have been some changes at Amani again. More kids have left including Junior, Jimmy and Amberly. And I presume that more kids have come in.

in the meantime I am missing this little cheeky chappy so much! - photos courtesty of Amy.

Many other parents and kids are going through the motions of adoption at the moment and things are very close to being finalised.
Prayer points

Please pray for these parents as they race around Uganda trying to get papers signed and completed, passports processed and visas issued.
Please also pray for Katie who is suffering from Sickle Cell Anemia, her parents are in the process of finalising so she can return with her parents to her new home. She is often poorly and weak. Pray for good heatlh and strength for her.
That God will use these families in mighty ways to witness of His love and faithfullness - to the Ugandans they meet on a daily basis, to the judges and the officials.
Positive rulings for the families waiting to hear from the judge.

God is certainly working through Amani, the staff, the volunteers and the prospective parents in Uganda and he is proving his faithfullness and grace throughout these adoptions.

Hi Isabelle,

Thank you for commenting on my blog yesterday. I wish you all the best and good luck with your adoption of Nathanial. It sounds like a long road, but it will be so worth it in the end.

Take Courage!

God's grace is sufficient for what He has called us to. It is different for each of us, but His grace is tailor-made for you.
